Concerns expressed over rising incidents of violence and discrimination against religious minorities

It is unfortunate that despite the current Covid 19 pandemic, that is posing its share of challenges in Pakistan, religious intolerance and discrimination sadly in the past few months is on the rise. This concern has been expressed by the National Commission for Justice and Peace (NCJP). State of Pakistan’s Children 2016 – An Overview

Among the most alarming revelations in 2016 was the failure of Pakistan to achieve targets set under all Millennium Development Goals (MGDs). This situation calls for immediate and effective policy measures and strong adherence to and implementation of existing legislation.
