Portal established to report online child sexual abuse material

March 19: Digital Rights Foundation (DRF) in collaboration with the Internet Watch Foundation (IWF) and the Global Fund to End Violence Against Children launched a portal to improve children’s online safety in Pakistan. The new portal allows internet users in Pakistan to anonymously report child sexual abuse material in three different languages – English, Urdu, and Pashto. ICRC seeks applications/nominations for Pakistan Humanitarian Reporting Award 2019

International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) and the Centre for Excellence in Journalism (CEJ-IBA) invite Pakistani journalists to submit entries for consideration to the Humanitarian Reporting Award 2019. The award will focus on work produced in the field of humanitarian reporting and will be judged in four categories: Mainstream Broadcast (Urdu); Mainstream Print (Urdu); Mainstream Print (English); Online (English & Urdu) Winners in each category will be awarded Rs.100,000 and runner-ups will receive Rs.80,000.
