Nayyab Ali – first trans-woman, elected co-chairperson of EVAW/G Alliance

July 2019, Islamabad: Ms Nayyab Ali has been elected new co-chairperson of the National Chapter of the Ending Violence against Women/Girls Alliance for a two-year term. She is the first tans-woman to have been elected to co-chair such a forum. She was elected unopposed to replace the outgoing co-chairperson Anbreen Ajaib on completion of her two-year term. White Ribbon plans to hold a ‘Million Men March’ on 24th November

White Ribbon Pakistan plans to hold a ‘Million Men March’ in 50 districts of Pakistan on 24th Noveber – just a day before the annual 16 days of activism campaign starts, which is run every year from 25th November (the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women), to 10 December (Human Rights Day).
