A child is a child – Protecting children on the move from violence, abuse and exploitation

Note: this is executive summary of the recently released study of children stuck in the conundrum of migration or trafficking issues. This report shows how the lack of safe and legal pathways for refugee and migrant children feeds a booming market for human smuggling and puts them at risk of violence, abuse and exploitation. ‘Marriage: No Child’s Play’ launched in Lahore

Lahore, May 24, 2017: A five-year project aimed at preventing child marriages by  enabling young people to make informed decisions regarding marriage and health rights was launched at a local hotel on Friday. The event was organized by Bedari in collaboration with Oxfam.
